Very old forum software in play. One thing I can do is rename your account to something totally away from what you had, change the e-mail to the same thing, and that renams all your posts (without breaking threads).

Totally fair—sometimes it’s just easier to step back and let things be, especially with older forum setups where options are a bit limited.  That said, I’ve noticed the scam crowd operates a bit differently—really engaged, passionate, and switched on, which makes it a great space for more targeted discussions or marketing.
