The reinstallation of the EFU-Adapter on the JEM-EF was planned on Monday(September, 10).But there was no information by JAXA or NASA.Did I miss it, or was it postponed?
Japanese Experiment Module Remote Manipulator System (JEMRMS) Operations: Overnight Space Station Integration and Promotion Center (JAXA) used the JEMRMS to transfer the Exposed Facility Unit (EFU) adapter, with the new High Definition Television Camera System for JEM Exposed Facility 2 (HDTV-EF2), from the JEM Airlock to EFU 5. The JEMRMS Small Fine Arm was used to install the EFU adapter on EFU 5. Unfortunately, SSIPC has not been able to receive telemetry from the new HDTV-EF2 at this time. Ground specialist are investigating the problem. The HDTV-EF2, a demonstration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products being used in space, will be used to take images of the Earth’s surface, spacecraft and meteorological phenomenon for education purposes or public release.
A Falcon 9 from pad 40 will launch the next Dragon resupply mission to the ISS, CRS-16, on November 27 at 4:19pm EST. The first stage will land back at Cape Canaveral about eight minutes after launch. The launch time gets 22-25 minutes earlier each day. A Falcon 9 from pad 40 will launch the first Block III GPS satellite on December 15, likely at 9:08am EST. And a Falcon 9 will launch from pad 39A with the first Crew Dragon capsule on an uncrewed demonstration mission, DM-1 to the ISS, on December at the earliest.

It will be Gerst’s second spacewalk.The exact date of the second spacewalk is under review, but it will take place during the next station crew rotation, Expedition 57. Astronauts will use that spacewalk to complete the power system refurbishment on the port truss.NASA will provide coverage of the spacewalks, each expected to last about six-and-a-half hours, on NASA TV and the agency’s website.
