Does anyone knows what platform is being used for this launch?

Thanks!

As far as i know, all Raduga-1 without M were flown on Proton-K-Launchers. Russian Press calls it Raduga-1 ("Радуга-1") without M.

Yes, this is a recurrent problem with my website, and I don't know how to fix it. You have to wait some minutes and reload the page... Sorry...  :-(

Ahh, it's working for me now, thanks. Great pics, btw. You don't happen to have higher resolution shots, do you?
That last pic with the venting is particularly dramatic!

Do we know if this satellite has been given a Kosmos designation or not?

It would be very surprising. Raduga-class satellites are usually called "Raduga"...  (or Raduga-1)

Thanks for the images, Nicolas. :)

Proton is a great-looking rocket IMO, and it's still always a bit strange to see such a large booster sitting on the pad ready to launch all by itself with no type of service mast whatsoever standing nearby.
