Normally it's the launch vehicles and spacecraft that we vigorously applaud here. This one is for an astronaut. Absolute legend.

I wonder if he'll have the entire astronaut corps doing PT every day at 5 AM? ;D

Any idea who his Deputy is?

I can hear it now from some confused people walking out of the weekly astronaut meeting in Houston, "So what is a 'Hell week'? He said we all gotta go through it?"
Or a Capsule on the pad at KSC, he gets on comms and asks if the crew is ready. They all reply with a loud, "Ooh-Yah*, SIR!"
*Hey, I was in the Army, I know I probably got the yell wrong. Sue me.
