Still nothing from NASA TV. Just things about White House drive social media outreach to NASA's future for woman, or something.

I spotted it and took some photos of it as its flight path took it north of College Park, MD. This was at about 9:50AM. Altitude was maybe 5,000 ft or so (just a ballpark estimate, no idea how far off I really am).

Had to fire off photos as it appeared between clouds. Even the 300mm lens wasn't much help, but I'm just happy to have seen it as I didn't get to see Discovery go overhead!

They want us to forget the program ASAP. I felt that with lack of coverage with Discovery and this confirms it for me…

The low altitude and express-to-NYC route must have made it tough to see.

Looks like a lot of wind up in NYC also.

I asked my ex-wife in northern NJ if she'd watch. She said she was too sad to do it.
