Watching Internet for takeoff announcement.  http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/livenow?id=8637251 has live feed (no narration, just voices and wind in background).  Nothing on CNN live yet.

After all my nostalgic discussion of NYC viewing spots (http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=20866.270), my plan at the moment is to keep an eye peeled on the Internet, walk onto my balcony here in the Dulles area just after takeoff, snap a pic or two.

Ack, CNN lag.  lol

A little movement out there now.

Sticking with the local ABC feed, where at least there's some sound as well as video:

Thanks for that link, Seems to be the same as CNN just without the graphics.

It's just Enterprise.  SO 1977... :P

Someone said they wished Discovery would have been delivered via an Approach and Landing Test. :D  If only.

Ready for takeoff. Enterprise's first since 1985, I think.

Enterprise set to leave dulles after a quarter century visit

Online Chris Bergin

Cool. Let's keep the chatter down and focus on updates only. That's what people will be coming to this thread for.

(Getting a lot of report to mod reports about it ;))
