Rocket Lab AIC Update — Sept 30, 2025

• Work continues on the AIC “test stand”
• Yesterday: top mounts removed
• Today: boom lift positioned under the stand, crews working
• Blue crawler trailer still on site, unclear what it’ll be used for
• If it’s meant to move the stand, that won’t happen today with Electron vertical for tonight’s HASTE launch

Rocket Lab Warkworth NZ facility.
Interesting ring structures on site yesterday.
Could be support cradles for transporting Neutron fuselage sections adding some credence to debate that some of these are for flight and going to the US.
More feasible now Neutron launch delayed.

1/2  Here's a treat to whet your appetite for Mid-Atlantic Rocket Lab happenings, while we wait for the launch of the HASTE VAN mission.

Activity at Rocket Lab's Middle River, MD facility seems to be ramping up. The facility was recently acquired through Lockheed Martin. Historically, this building was used for Lockheed's Vertical Launch System (VLS), while the broader campus has aerospace ties dating as far back as the 1930s.

Now, the building reportedly houses Rocket Lab's Space Structures Complex. We'll be keeping an eye on things as things move forward!

  Neutron is BIG.
The Neutron fairing being developed at Warkworth NZ is REALY BIG when seen in person but that section is only a small part of the full rocket being built in the US. These images give some sense of that. The scale is not 100% accurate but close enough.

 Neutron Fairings Warkworth NZ.
Neutron fairings hit the road. Not very far up the road but what a sight to see! Had me fooled - I was expecting it to move over to the test stand but it turned left and out the gate🫢Tucked away in a big tent "For Now". Where to next⁉️

Today they have moved the older Neutron Fixed Fairing section over close to the structural test stand.
And a new red stand is being constructed.
I suspect that this fairing may be used for testing the Stage 2 separation mechanism over on the big gantry.

r/RocketLab thread shows fairings have been wrapped up and loaded onto a barge.

Rocket Lab Neutron AIC Update — Dec 6, 2025

We swung by the launch complexes first — nothing happening out there — so we headed to the AIC… and wow, glad we did.

• Crane parts are being delivered. Three trailers were already on-site, and a fourth arrived while we were taking photos.
• The trailers were being staged in the center and along the left side of the AIC. Looks like more deliveries are coming.
• On the test stand, workers have started reinstalling the piping again — by my count, this is the third time they’ve removed and reinstalled it.
• Everything points to them gearing up for a big move soon.
• We’ll definitely check again tomorrow to see what else arrives.

Loading onto the Vessel Rijnvliet IMO: 9996898 at North Port, Marsden Point.
Viewing positions limited but you can see it being lowered into the hold.
We can track this now. It's destination is shown as "sea" which means they ain't telling
