I am creating this Next Gen ICBM Thread for this weeks USAF Contract/Procurement Awards:

The recent awards this week by USAF and DoD require the advanced next generation ICBM missile system to operate in three suborbital modes of operation: Strategic, Tactical, and Kinetic weaponry. The ICBM System will be capable of deploying Nuclear, Conventional, and Kinetic warheads. The ICBM System will be designed to be as fully autonomous as possible after liftoff and will be able to alter its stage performance to shorten or lengthen its range to serve as either an MRBM or ICBM. An additional requirement imposed by DARPA, MDA, DoD and USAF states that the Next Generation ICBM will be capable of serving as a suborbital/orbital launcher as part of the next Orbital-Suborbital Program from the get go. Additional stages will be designed under future awards for the launcher requirement.
