STS-1 Anniversary Site from NASA
« on: 04/03/2006 08:54 pm »
"The NASA History Division is pleased to announce a special new Web site
devoted to the upcoming 25th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle
flight, STS-1, on April 12, 1981.  This site is available at
http://history.nasa.gov/sts25th/index.htm (please click on this link or
be careful to type in this URL precisely) on-line and includes a wealth
of information including chronologies, fun facts, biographies, images,
Web links, bibliographies, information about the Shuttle's innovative
technologies, and more.  Special thanks to interns Gabriel Okolski and
Julia Sawyer and to designer Todd Messer for all their hard work on this
attractive and informative site."

Seems like a pretty weak effort from NASA to mark the anniversary.
