Hello! My name is Connor and I am an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I think that having an L2 would be useful in a variety of ways. I love to discuss space news with friends and learn about cutting edge engineering. I think it helps us frame what our futures could be like working for aerospace companies.

I am also the technical director for an organization known as Illinois Space Society, a SEDS chapter. We work on four different technical projects, all related to space. Having access to materials like flight manuals or procedures could help us develop into a more professional society by learning from these established companies and their methods.

Thanks for this awesome opportunity!

Two new scholarships for US students available. One for a Baltic or Scandinavian student. And now one for Austria (focus), or that region.

Ludwig Karlsson, Engineering Physics at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Sweden

I'm a space and rocketry nerd and follow news closely. I'm active in the rocketry association at my university and I am thinking about choosing aerospace for my master. I have been a member here for the last year but have been reading on the forums for longer and have wanted L2 since I saw that it existed. This scholarship idea is awesome.

Hello Chris,

My name is Adrian. I am 18 years old. I am from Mexico. I study at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, arguably the highest level of quality of education my country has to offer. I am currently studying Petroleum Engineering (its not the career I wanted, its what was available) but I will be shifting over to Mechanical Engineering from August 2019 and onwards. After majoring from Mechanical Engineering I will be working on my Aerospace Engineering master's degree.

Ever since I witnessed the SpaceX's SES-8 launch live on YouTube I have been keeping up with aerospace-related news. I am a vivid STEM advocate with a strong scope on propulsion systems for rocket engines.

If I were to be granted a scholarship for L2, it would be of incredible assistance with my educational development.  I've been told that it really is rich on rocketry-related content that I am obviously keen on learning about for educational purposes.

Big thanks to you and mtakala24!

Enjoy!

Our University's rocketry club would be interested in having contact with your University's rocketry club. I believe there has been a meeting more than 10 years ago, but people have changed...

Hi! I'm pretty new in the club and I'm not in the board. I'm currently working on preparing a new project that we will hopefully launch within the club next year. I'm sure that there would be interest in contact between our clubs though! Regarding any previous contact that might have been another club as I believe the club that I'm in, ĘSIR, only started a couple of years ago.

Edit: here is an email-adress if you want to come in contact with the board directly: [email protected]

Hi Chris,

I was pointed this way from a friend of mine who frequents these parts. My name is Jacob, and I'm a senior studying physics at Cornell. So far on NSF I've been focusing more on the NewSpace side of space development (esp. Chinese NewSpace) so I hadn't landed in the L2 section yet. I've had a few space related internships already and I'll definitely end up doing something aerospace related in my career, so the L2 scholarship would be a great resource along the way.

If the US scholarships are still available (and there aren't others in line), please PM me!

Thank you.
