Static Fire NET Tuesday now. No change to the launch date at this time, but now it's really tight.

Heard there is a slight slip today.
Launch is now NET 9 December, next available dates if that doesn't work out would be 12th / 13th.

(Chris note: This is not yet official with NASA or SpaceX)

Still nothing from NASA, but they have to get the Static Fire done, so that may be why. Obviously the planning date certainly looks like it must be the 9th now.

Static Fire is on for tomorrow. Official notice to employees sent out for the test (for the first time for this event), so looks hopeful.

Rollout of the CRS-13 booster. She's the CRS-11 booster and......now for the note I made earlier about appearance. She still has the soot from that landing. They've 'drawn' pinstripes in the soot. Asked SpaceX, comms people weren't sure, but the info was mentioned again by a local observation. Can't wait for photos!

I assume this is from a NASA communication? but best treat as unconfirmed for now:

SpaceX, NASA now targeting next Tuesday, Dec. 12 for launch of F9/Dragon on CRS-13 cargo resupply mission to ISS; static fire potentially tomorrow (Dec. 6).

That matches what I heard this morning- NET 12 December.

Much as that pains me that I'll miss seeing the launch in person, all I really care about is that the launch campaign is successful.
Thinking about how much work goes into (re)commissioning a launch site I'm actually pleasantly surprised that they're back to (nearly) ready to fly from SLC-40.

Still no #Falcon9 rocket visibly erect at #Pad40 as of 145 PM ET today 12/5-would be between the rigging. My view from Titusville, FL. @SpaceX static fire test now apparently NET Dec 6. #Dragon #CRS13 carggo launch for @NASA to @Space_Station apparently NET Dec 12. #ISS #SpaceX

NASA:

SpaceX CRS-13 Launch Set For No Earlier Than Dec. 12

NASA and our commercial cargo provider SpaceX are targeting no earlier than Dec. 12 at 11:46 a.m. EST for their 13th commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station. This new launch date takes into account pad readiness, requirements for science payloads, space station crew availability, and orbital mechanics. Carrying about 4,800 pounds of cargo including critical science and research, the Dragon spacecraft will spend a month attached to the space station.

We're expecting "Sooty" not to fire up until around midday at the earliest, but the trick with these long windows and moving targets is to wait until venting, they watch it like a hawk.

Meanwhile...

Bill sees venting:

We had 12:30 as a NET and potentially slipping, so either they've caught up, or this is a big purge test of the revamped pad. Let's hope it's the former.

Been holding outside of main Prop Load. Venting appears to be purges and such.
