Joe Engle happens to be the last living X-15 pilot following the death of William H. Dana (who took part in flights of the M2-F1, M2-F3, HL-10, and X-24B) in 2014, and he's outlived Chuck Yeager and William J. Knight (the latter who carried out the fastest flight made by the X-15).
