ISRO study on Hybrid Rocket Engine Technology:
1) Solid fuel (HTPB, Paraffin, PVC, PMMA, PU, PP).
2) Liquid oxidizer (LOX, GOX, H2O2, N2O, N2O4, Liquid Flourine).
3) Can throttle solid motor and control the thrust to achieve very precise missions.
4) Development program currently working only on sounding rockets.

Hmm, judging by the troubles Virgin Galactic had with their engine - had to introduce methane+helium to make it stable, I'm not sure hybrid engines are the way to go.
