ISRO study of a Nano Satellite Launch Vehicle (NSLV):
1) Based on sounding rockets.
2) Need to design steering mechanism, reorientation technology etc. for sounding rockets.
3) ISRO has developed solid-propellent based control system.
4) Payload capability: 5 Kg.
5) 4 stages - 3 operational motors (from sounding rocket) and new 4th stage.
