There are two launchers for the Lunar program. One for an orbiter and one for a rover.

S. Korea test-fires ballistic missile capable of striking North

http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/national/2014/04/04/56/0301000000AEN20140404001251315F.html

Looks like the upper stage of the venerable Nike-Hercules surface to air missile mated to a new monolithic solid booster motor. Should have the same performance in surface to surface ballistic role. About 500 km range with the original warhead mass of about 1000 kg with gains in range with a lighter warhead. Really doubt they have terminal guidance with this chimera.

booster stage is derivative of one of the Nike Sounding rockets and upper is Nike Derivative. Several variants of Nike family and its sounding rockets were deployed in S. Korea, Japan and other countries in the region. I'm aware of at least two sessions of technology transfer with S. Korea. more may have occurred. known transfers occurred between 1970s and 2000s

KSLV-2 pilot vehicle to launch in October.

I believe the correct name is Test Launch Vehicle (TLV).

KSLV-2 pilot vehicle to launch in October.

I believe the correct name is Test Launch Vehicle (TLV).
The Ground TLV was recently fired. The one in October is the Proto Flight Qualification TLV.
Translated roughly by my cousin who is a translator of the Korean languages.

GOHEUNG, South Korea, Sept 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's aerospace institute showcased its locally developed booster engine on Thursday, part of a long-term effort to produce the Korea Space Launch Vehicle-2 (KSLV-2), a three-stage indigenous rocket.

The rocket, carrying a locally made 75-ton engine, is set to be launched on Oct. 25 from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) said.
