Whoah... Check it out.  There's a dino fossil just over the next ridge...  Amazing resolution.
Sometimes I just flat out don't get it.

They do not publicly release the pointing metadata, so generally you have to find features from the image in a larger context image, such as a navcam/hazcam shot or even a HiRise overhead. Shadow orientations and time of day can give a clue of general direction sometimes.

It turns out that Curiosity has actually been on the ground for less than two years. So a ten-year anniversary map seems somewhat premature.

The tenth-year anniversary reference is to Opportunity, not to Curiosity.
Following the space program since before Apollo 8.
