BOOK: The Rockets – A tragic novel about Humanity, Space, and the need of Vision

Dear Space Enthusiasts and Worshippers of hard sci-fi,

After working in planetary science for 7 years, I decided to write a novel about Mars to advocate the significance of space science to society in an entertaining manner while providing background information (including scientific references).

The book is called "The Rockets" and describes a dystopian (near) future scenario of the last few humans surviving on Mars. In addition to this premise, the story includes interdisciplinary topics such as human identity, the need for cooperation, the nature of Mars, evolutionary adaptability to a new but hostile environment, and the need for political visions.
