Skeyeon VLEO earth observation
« on: 07/20/2022 05:33 am »
In light of recent ESA/Thales announcements regarding Skimsat, a VLEO sat design that appears to not use air breathing electric propulsion for drag reboost, it was pointed out that Skeyeon exists.

They appear to be using annular concentric folded optics for an extremely compact telescope.

Their big claims are patents on atomic erosion resistance, and what appears to be a patent on VLEO air breathing satellites?

The ABEP design in the patent is kinda interesting, though quite different from their sat design on their website (which appears to not have ABEP?)
