Evolution Space suborbital space shot at FAR

Evolution Space of Mojave, California launched its Gold Chain Cowboy (GCC) rocket from the Friends of Amateur Rocketry (FAR) test range. The company said its rocket reached 124.5 kilometers (77.36 miles/408,456 ft) at a speed of Mach 5.2 after liftoff on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Thanks catdlr, I actually considered posting there. But if I'm being honest, I kinda feel like a suborbital space shot deserves its own post instead of being part of that thread. I love BPS Space and $20 1080p video cameras as much as the next person, but I don't feel they're readily comparable to the flight I posted. Well, at least until Joe starts seriously flying for his planned space shot.

That's fair.  The other (General) thread is just a bucket thread for all activity at Mojave not just BPS.  So, yeah, that's fine.  Continue posting here and If I happened to see Evolution, I'll post here too.  And, if you haven't been told before, welcome to the forum.  (I deleted my original post).
