https://www.mext.go.jp/kaigisiryo/content/20230823-mxt_uchukai01-000031454_1.pdf

The remaining failure scenarios have been organized into three.
(1) Minor short circuit inside the exciter, total short circuit after SEIG : Common Scenarios No.8,9,10,15,16
(2) Overcurrent condition occurs when energizing the exciter : Common Scenario No.18
(3) Overcurrent inside PSC2 A system and then propagation to B system

Based on this, measures will be taken against exciter and PSC2 to prevent recurrence.

What's next?
⚫ Measures will be reflected in the design of the H3 rocket. Before the resumption of launch, system-level verification tests Confirm the adequacy of countermeasures.
⚫ Based on the results of the investigation of the cause, we will proceed with the analysis of the factors behind the cause and organize the horizontal development.
• As part of this, design changes to improve the reliability of the H3 rocket will be considered.

Iwao Igarashi of MHI says the failure investigation into the first H3 launch was completed last month, and the company hopes to perform a second flight before the end of the year. #WSBW

Can’t be too much work to do then.
