Maybe the spacecraft has deployable solar panels, like those shown in one of the illustrations.

The animation doesn't seem to shown any solar panels.

In July 2018, the full-scale airdrop test of the Shijian-19 satellite of the 508th Institute of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation was successfully completed. The test was carried out for 2 sorties and all the measurement data proposed in the technical requirements were obtained, which fully verified the design of the key links and working procedures of the recovery system, such as the ejection of the deceleration parachute, the connection and separation of the deceleration parachute, the main parachute exiting the cabin, the main parachute opening, the front end separation, the airbag inflation and the cushioning parachute release.

Then CZ-2D Y43, was lauched on September 25, 2019 from Jiuquan, base on those reasons, I guess the number Y42.

It looks like the short-duration version without solar panels. But still the cylindrical section seems to have some protrusions, which are not compatible with an unshrouded launch.

Chinese sources write Y78, I don't know if it's true.

"The launch weight of Shijian No. 19 is no more than 3550kg, and it operates in a circular orbit with an inclination of 43° and an altitude of 336 kilometers. It carries out flight test missions such as aerospace breeding, independent and controllable new technology verification, and space science experiments. After flying in orbit for about 13.5 days, it returned to Dongfeng Landing Field. The No. 19 recovery capsule is designed to be reused no less than 10 times, and the landing impact of the recovery capsule is less than 15g."

So reentry & landing is around Oct. 10/11.

Successful Recovery of the Shijian-19 Satellite

At 10:39 AM Beijing time today, China successfully recovered its first reusable returnable technology experiment satellite, the Shijian-19, at the Dongfeng landing site. The recovered payloads include plant and microbial breeding loads, autonomous control and new technology verification loads, space science experiment loads, and public welfare and cultural innovation loads, all of which have been successfully retrieved.

The Shijian-19 satellite is an important new technology experiment satellite during China's 14th Five-Year Plan period. It was launched on September 27 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Through flight tests, it has made breakthroughs in key technologies such as reusability, non-destructive recovery, and high microgravity assurance. The satellite successfully verified the technical indicators of a new generation of high-performance reusable returnable space experiment platforms, achieving the expected experimental results.

my country successfully recovered its first reusable returnable technology test satellite

The reporter learned from the National Space Administration that at 10:39 on October 11, my country successfully recovered the first reusable and recoverable technology test satellite, the Shijian-19 satellite, at the Dongfeng landing site. The plant and microbial breeding payloads, autonomous control and new technology verification test payloads, space science experiment payloads, social welfare and cultural creativity payloads and other recovery payloads have all been successfully recovered.

Shijian-19 satellite is an important new technology test satellite during my country's "14th Five-Year Plan" period. It was launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on September 27. Through flight tests, it has made breakthroughs in key technologies such as reusability, non-destructive recovery, and high microgravity guarantee, and verified the technical indicators of the new generation of high-performance reusable and recoverable space test platforms, achieving various expected test results.

Shijian-19 satellite has the characteristics of high microgravity level, good timeliness, and strong downlink capability. It is an efficient high-microgravity space test platform that can support research in microgravity science and space life science. This flight mission carried out space breeding, new technology verification and space science experiments, and focused on promoting the development and application of new space technologies. At the same time, it carried multiple international cooperation payloads, becoming a good platform for promoting international space cooperation, which is of great significance to promoting the exploration and utilization of space.
The Shijian-19 returned to Dongfeng landing spot on October 11 (02:39 UTC).

卫星搭载X频段数传载荷,使用长征二号丁遥四十四运载火箭发射升空。
The satellite is equipped with an X-band data transmission payload and was launched into space using the Long March 2D Y44 carrier rocket.
