GIF of flaming jets seen shooting out of SN9's failed engine plumbing well above the bell, from two sides...

Looks like the FAA is going to review SN09’s “landing”

Also notable from the FAA, just now: "The FAA-approved corrective actions implemented by SpaceX enhanced public safety. Those actions were incorporated into today’s SN9 launch. We anticipate taking no further enforcement action on SN8 matter."

Starship SN9 finally flies after SpaceX received approval from the FAA. Much like SN8, SN9 performed beautifully up until landing, touching down harder than expected due to an engine failing to properly startup.

Just noticed something that came off about when the flip started. It flutters down fairly slowly.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Scenes from the crash site. Starship SN9 made a valiant effort to stick the landing but ultimately failed. Its wreckage is now strewn about the launch site as a result. Good effort SN9, good luck SN10. (Check out the Raptor guts in the third photo!) @NASASpaceflight

Changed my mind - think this is SN9 clean up related? Seems bit soon for SN10 test, unless 7.2?
