Meanwhile, in space... Current separation of the 11 sats, less than 10 days since thrusting began. Altitudes being adjusted and satellites starting to drift out of plane. Credit to ORBCOMM CEO, @Marc944Marc

We're often (and rightly) told we ignore the sats after S/C sep, so here's one for the OG-2 birds:

re-post of original with audio correction.

SpaceX - First Landing 12-21-2015

We had to re post for audio corrections. Listen to the sonic boom at the same moment of touchdown. Listen to the thousands of people in and around Port Canaveral as the Merlin engines fired for final descent.

(Old thread, but I suppose this is an update. :) )
http://spacenews.com/three-orbcomm-og2-satellites-malfunctioning-fate-to-be-determined/

12 of 18 satellites currently operational. Demo satellite deorbited prematurely, FM-111 failed in 2015. 4 more have failed, three in 2017 (haven't found the SV numbers referenced, or a constellation status page.) Possible replenishment satellites, called OG3, likely to go into high inclination orbits to compliment partnership with Inmarsat's GEO satellites.

The article references Orbcomm's SEC filing, which refers you to "Note 6 - Property and Equipment", which I haven't located on SEC's or Orbcomm's site.

Eight years ago today, SpaceX successfully landed an orbital class rocket for the first time. Since that time, SpaceX has landed Falcon rockets more than 250 times and counting
