SRB recovery video

I came across this YouTube video featuring Liberty Star and Freedom Star during recovery operations supporting STS-133 Discovery.
This video shows for the first time (for me personally) actual documented "sonic booms" as the SRBs go subsonic as they fall back to Earth. "Sonic booms" are at 6:04 using the video timer.

Sonic boom is not a one time even that is created when an object passes through the speed of sound. Sonic booms are constant for any object going faster than the speed of sound. It is like a wake from a boat. It is constantly being created, but for a person on the shoreline, they would only experience it while it passes them.
