Epic again. STS-133's ascent section was the best ever, but this is still brilliant, and even has that debris at sep captured, which I've been struggling to capture as it's now related to STS-135 :)

I should link the article up here given the 134 event:

For Chris
That Atlantis pic you put on the front page reminds me of Moonraker.

why does the PAO say that STORRM is for "future spacecraft"?  Just say Orion, its ok now :)

He probably doesn't know whether to pronounce it "mip-siv" or "em pee see vee." :P

"The spacecraft formerly known as Orion..." ;)

I can't do screenshots, but there is a pretty brunette sitting in Chris B's chair at his console! :D

No, DragonEye is for Dragon. STORRM stands for "Sensor Test for Orion Relnav Risk Mitigation". It is most definitely for Orion.

Don't seet it noted, but the CDRA checked out just fine and the reboost was completed (~.6 statute mile increase in altitude).

Per FD14 Execute Package
STORRM DRU3 cannot be recovered.
STORRM ops will run without the docking camera.  :-[

The 'Face in Space' event that was to take place now has been put off so they can determine what it is.  The Execute Package incorrectly calls it a playback.  It'a a low priority item, and this is a low priority post.

Shuttle handover from Orbit 1 to Orbit 2 should be underway.  After that, Lead/Orbit1 Flight Gary Horlacher will come over to do this morning's status briefing.

May get a little STORRM DTO preview and I've attached a "fax" of tomorrow's undocking timeline the newsroom has here.

Darn. Well, as long as the "faces" were still transmitted up to the shuttle...

The issue Mark has is that there isn't clear direction as to what he was to do.  Houston agreed, so they're going to come up with a plan for later.

Houston - "And Mark we really appreciate your offer to leave the airlock panel unstowed for Ron, however we checked and we can't leave it in the open config for that long. So it's airlock overhead alpha two closeout panel and if you have time we're requesting that you be able to re-install that."

Mark - "Yeah I'll be able to get it.  Just give me a few minutes I'll get over there."

Houston - "And there's no rush on it and thank you so much."

Mark - "Yeah there is - we're closin' the hatch."

Houston (smiling) - "That's the only rush, thanks Mark."

I was a "Face in Space" on STS-133. Received my e-flight certificate signed by Cdr. Kelly (Scott). I am also a "Face in Space" on STS-134. Looking forward to my e-certificate after they return.

I was not aware of a "Face in Space" event.

Robert and Denise are here.  (And sounds like the newsroom phone has been ringing...)

There is going to be a STORRM preview, w/show and tell.
