NASA taking Technology from Racing

A bit of a role reversal here!

The Story

for those of you that don't follow racing the HANS device is a device that fits on the shoulders of the drivers and keeps their head in place in the even of a high G event such as a head on shunt into the wall.

Pretty interesting that NASA is asking the racing community for help!
