What did they achieve in 23 years with that so called feature in terms of Mars plan? They have a highly reliable partly reusable medium launch vehicle and an ISP company. Admit that he is a con man with a nose for talent and fantastic pr.

In terms of mentioning spacex... I mentioned it because when I opened this Blue forum and look for latests posts, all I could see was snarky spacex  shill comments(may or may not be yours). Thats why I said what I said. I don't brigade spacex forums.
So Starlink revolutionized space telecomm, and your description is "formed an ISP".

Starship is a fully reusable 2x Saturn vehicle, but your summary ignores that and instead faint praises F9, which currently carries global launch on its shoulders.

And then it gets personal with "con man", except that no single individual has created more change in so many indistries since maybe Edison.

So much of BO enthusiasm stems simply from Musk hate. I don't like his politics either but you lose all credibility when you dismiss the man as simply a PR-driven con job.

His main PR strategy is being transparent, warts and all. BO can maybe install some windows in their factory so we can see all the wonderful things that are hidden in there. Wouldn't that be something!

What BO achieved to date is anemic. Take that frustration and point it back at BO where it belongs, and maybe something will get moving there.

What I want to say is this: if you love Elon and his dreams keep it at Spacex threads please. There aren't many Blue followers and we don't want Spacex beauty here. We want Blue stuff. If we want Spacex stuff we will go Spacex threads. I can't speak for everyone but keeping different topic in different places is an ancient forum rule. It decreases unnecessary conflict, creates positive environment.

Well you can achieve your goal of less SpaceX content here by stop mentioning SpaceX yourself... I wasn't going to comment on this thread at all until I saw your post, just FYI.

As for the removing heavy industry from earth, yeah it is adream. But Jeff clearly states this(Blue Origin objectives) is multi generational dream. Other guy says "I will retire on Mars". Of course you will baby:)

Yes, and Elon's urgency is a feature, not a bug. It's precisely because of this urgency that SpaceX moves so fast. Bezos' multi-generational dream doesn't motivate his employees to move fast at all, and he already admitted this is a problem.

Um...I hate to tell you but this is the "General" discussion thread for Blue.  You can't possibly think/believe there would be no talk/comparisons/mentions to the closest competitor to Blue when discussing?  Getting upset at people who do this is causing the exact OT posts you are complaining about.....like this one from me.  And since SpaceX is the only comparable company to Blue currently....it's kinda to be expected in "general" discussion of them.

You really need to take a step back and realize you are doing exactly what you are complaining about....bringing up SpaceX in a Blue thread....  I came here for Blue info too and see multiple posts from you complaining that SpaceX keeps being brought up in them.  If you have an issue and think there is a problem with OT posts, please just hit the "report to mods" link and let them know.  Ultimately, it's 100% up to them what is allowed and not allowed in these threads.

I looked at your posts a little bit and you seem to be extremely pro spacex (trying to be civil here). I don't think it should be up to you to decide what should be talked about in blue forums.

And if there is a problem, it needs to be talked about. That's what I did with the SpaceX mention (which was already happening). That is why I brought it up). There's probably a name for what you're accusing me of, but I don't know what it is: accusing me of making up problems that didn't exist until I made them exist, when in fact they existed before I brought them up, and that's why I brought them up.

In terms of mentioning competition.. Yes of course there will be comparisons and there should be. But these posts I was referring to were snarky comments about Blue and irrelevant spacex shit. Spacex brigading thing is a real problem everywhere.

I don't think moderation should be called when we can discuss it in a civilized way.

About Blue: New Glenn is the most beatiful rocket ever.

The most beautiful rocket is one with scorch marks and a flight history spanning 20 launches.

And we wouldn't be talking about SpaceX here (there are plenty of threads about that) if it weren't for the comparisons, and that's 100% on BO.  Maybe, if they start doing something, we'll have proper BO business to discuss.
