Axiom will follow Ax-1 with Ax-2, slated for launch in early 2023 and commanded by former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson. Axiom has named one customer, John Shoffner, who will be the pilot of the vehicle, but has not identified who else will go on the mission.
Ax-1 was an “extremely busy” but also “spectacularly successful” mission, say Axiom Space’s @DittmarML at #ISDC2022 this morning. Have been in lessons-learned meetings with NASA since then and already held first meeting for Ax-2 mission.

Will a Turkish astronaut really fly to the ISS with Dragon? And is it supposed to take place in the Ax-2 mission, as indicated by the thread this post has been inserted into? And not in Soyuz as previously announced?
Many countries still pay Russia for oil, such as Germany, and few countries have trouble with that. So Turkey won't have it either.
Of course, you are right. I was just wondering if this thread is really appropriate for the post about the flight of an astronaut from Turkey. Is his participation in Ax-2 really being considered?
