Mission DetailsTransporter 5Transporter 5 is a dedicated rideshare mission by SpaceX. SpaceX’s SmallSat Rideshare Program provides small satellite operators with regularly scheduled, dedicated Falcon 9 rideshare missions to SSO for ESPA class payloads for as low as $1 million per mission, which includes up to 200 kg of payload mass.Sun-Synchronous OrbitLocationSLC-4E, Vandenberg AFB, California, USA
"Skykraft has agreed a deal to launch its new 300-kilogram satellite on SpaceX’s upcoming Transporter-5 mission."https://www.spaceconnectonline.com.au/launch/5014-skykraft-picks-spacex-s-transporter-5-for-satellite-launch
The 300 kg satellite is the carrier of several early stage Skycraft air traffic management satellites that form the global constellation of 210 satellites.
Exo-Space’s first FeatherEdge, which fills half of a single cubesat, is scheduled to make it’s on-orbit debut in June 2022 on a rideshare flight organized by Chicago-based Orbital Transports, a space logistics and orbital infrastructure company.
Los Angeles, CA, August 12, 2021 – Exo-Space announced an agreement with Orbital Transports to demonstrate their Vision-1 image analysis data processing unit on a Get Spaceborne™ rideshare mission in low Earth orbit (LEO). The Vision-1 image processor executes novel machine vision algorithms to detect and classify objects and structures within the field of view of on-board imaging systems. Rather than sending large sets of raw data down to ground stations, the Vision-1 processes images directly from an onboard camera and sends down only the relevant information, reducing downlink costs and improving response times to observable events.“By flying with Orbital Transports, Exo-Space will obtain valuable flight experience and accelerate the development of our products,” said Jeremy Allam, CEO of Exo-Space. “It’s a great opportunity to demonstrate our machine vision hardware in LEO and acquire flight heritage in the space environment.” The Vision-1 is a compact Data Processing Unit for artificial intelligence applications on-orbit. Its small size (0.5U) makes it compatible with most CubeSat platforms.
Our June & December SSO launches with the SpaceX #Rideshare program are filling up fast! We have room on our #EQUALIZER & #RIFLE deployers for these two ’22 missionsRocket
Tucson, Arizona, USA / Berlin, Germany - September 23, 2021 – Lunasonde, a startup that focuses on subsurface imaging from space, and Exolaunch, a global leader in rideshare launch, deployment and integration services for small satellites, announce the launch agreements to fly a portion of the Gossamer satellite constellation to a sun-synchronous orbit aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 Transporter missions in 2022.
The Lunasonde Gossamer satellites will fly on the rideshare missions that Exolaunch is manifesting on Falcon 9 throughout 2022 enabled by a Multi-Launch Agreement with SpaceX. The satellites will be safely delivered into orbit via Exolaunch’s comprehensive mission management and proprietary deployment technologies.
Kleos Space S.A, a space-powered Radio Frequency Reconnaissance data-as-a-service (DaaS) company, has signed new contracts with satellite builder Innovative Solutions in Space B.V. (ISISPACE) and global launch services provider Spaceflight Inc to build and manage the launch its fourth satellite cluster of four satellites, the Observer Mission (KSF3) mid-2022.
Contract placed with launch services provider Spaceflight to launch Kleos’ fourth satellite cluster mid-2022 on a SpaceX rideshare launch.
