Uchronia: Tunguska Event...

I always wondering how this event could change the wolrd if in place of impact in Siberia, would be impact in a big city in that epoch...Lest say impact in one of this big citys, of the very important countries in that moment...New York, London, Berlin or Moscow...

Remember that this impact was in 1908, when Europe still has  the German Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Russian Empire, and the Otoman Empire...

Lets suppose if this impact destroy one of this city's, the WWI and the WW2 never happened, the civilian war of Russia never happened, and the URSS never exist...

How the aeronautical will development in this time? The world could unit for developing the technology for protect the earth of this event? How the space technology will be today?

If the big wars never happened the rockets will has a faster development o maybe decrease her impact if the V2 never exits, and the race to the space between US-URSS never happened?

If you like the uchronia, and the history, and the space technology and want share your opinions about this, here is the thread...
