I've had associations with Inmarsat. Great company.

I've never seen a sea launch before and the only thing that comes to mind when seeing that mission control ship is off the film Contact

Well they do a good job on the webcast then this will be spectacular. I have a feeling it will be a couple of webcams, but we live in hope.

Still on target for launching in just about three hours time?

Yes, still on target for just after 2pm UK time, 9am East Coast time USA. Remember this will be a night launch.

Here's some webcam images linked from their site (www.sea-launch.com) before the actual webcast...

Inmarsat seem to have a good link for the webcast too:

http://reflectweb.reflectsystems.com/getContent.aspx?WCID=88106417-5c4e-4b61-9b9a-dad218246d8f# - not started yet. When I - or anyone - gets a good webcast, post the link here.

Also wondering if their GMT is affected by the winter time clocks change, which would put this one hour away...we'll see. Webcam shows the rocket still on the pad and pressuring up.

Got a feeling this is going to be 3:06pm UK time, given no webcast yet. GMT is such a stupid time anyway :)

Well the webcam has GMT the same as UK Time, so obviously they haven't got their webcast to work!

Into the terminal count (horrible quality webcast, although a super impressive mission control ship!)
