Looks like a failure. Boat crew is working to secure the rocket which has just fallen back into the ocean.

it lifted off nicely, had some anomaly and went down ballistic into the water.
They are rushing to nexo1 to recover it.

Looks like a failure. Boat crew is working to secure the rocket which has just fallen back into the ocean.

Looked like a premature engine shutdown. Vehicle fell back into the water after a short flight. They are attempting recovery.

Recovery diver holding on to a crashed rocket that is venting LOX. A brave man methinks! One tough rocket as well, went into the sea at very high speed...  8)

The nose section looks very damaged, tail segment looks fine.
I hope they have fish nets, to scoop the small bits and pieces out of the water.
But the remainder of Nexo has to be recovered first.

Apparently they also have the nose segment recovered.

If you play the launch vid in slow speed, there's seems to be venting in mid ship, before lost of thrust. A fuel/ oxygen tank failure?

That was still pretty cool! Even crashed hardware is more impressive than powerpoints. I'll be keeping a closer eye on what CS do next. :)

A few seconds after lift-off someone calls that they have either no attitude or altitude data before the failure. Perhaps an avionics failure led to an abort, or they simply had a telemetry failure.

interesting find.

Copenhagen Suborbitals opened a bottle of champagne on the half succes of the Nexo 1 launch.
Congets for the successful pre launch processing, countdown and liftoff.
To bad Nexo1 had a inflight anomaly and ballistic splash down.
And all the trouble getting to the go/nogo point.
Fortunately you could recover most of Nexo 1.
I hope CS gained a lot of knowledge from the Nexo 1 compane.
The best of luck on you further endeavors CS.

I like their passion and I'm sure this won't be much of a set back. Get the issues out of the way now is the trick.

Was this the first launch of a rocket with an electric fuel pump system?
