Yoshifumi Inatani of ISAS has been the lead researcher doing the RVT testing, the current english web page is here:

If anyone has any updates about the development, can you post them here please ?

I remember reading a google-translated Japanese article a a few months back about the possible full scale suborbital followup, i have lost the link unfortunately.

The next tests ( RVT-10 through RVT-14 ) were apparently various ground tests of upgraded pumps and engines according to Wikipedia:
