After a flight of about 19 minutes, IRNSS-1B Satellite, weighing 1432 kg, was injected to an elliptical orbit of 283 km X 20,630 km, which is very close to the intended orbit.

After injection, the solar panels of IRNSS-1B were deployed automatically. ISRO's Master Control Facility (at Hassan, Karnataka) assumed the control of the satellite. In the coming days, five orbit manoeuvres will be conducted from Master Control Facility to position the satellite in its Geosynchronous Circular Orbit at 55 deg East longitude

The launch was successful and met predefined targets," said Isro chairman K Radhakrishnan. Against the targeted perigee of (nearest distance from earth) of 284km, the satellite achieved 283km. As for the apogee (maximum distance from earth), it fell short of just 20km of the targeted 20,650 km, but well within the margin of plus-minus 675 km

2014-017B/39636 in 279 x 20927 km x 19.114 (epoch April 4, 1508UTC) presumably PSLV 4th stage

    What is the final wanted orbital inclination 27 or 29?

    Wanted inclination is 29.

    Well http://www.sac.gov.in/SACSITE/IRNSS-1A.htm says 29 inclination for IRNSS-1A orbit
    This one has always been around 27 according to USSTRATCOM TLEs ???

       IRNSS-1B satellite is successfully placed at 55 deg East longitude, collocated with IRNSS-1A and GSAT-8 satellites. IRNSS-1B satellite performance is normal.
