Dont remember the words before T-10 like stuff about the valves being opened but after lift off.  It was something like liftoff of Endeavour where east does meet  west at the International Space station. Is that what you meant? dont really have a transcript

It was hard for me to understand.  "Going where East and West do meet, the International Space Station" is the best I got.

"Rain safety system is armed "

Pretty sure it's Range Safety.

Did anyone get the transcript of what Dom said during the throttle up call from Houston?

I saw because of the left rcs issue they were no-go for the pitch manuever?  I assume they pitched at some point?

Jim Dutton: Endeavour, you're go at throttle up, there's no action on the left RCS messages, we'll have words... later.
Dom Gorie: Copy, go at throttle up... copy, no action on the RCS message )

It sounds like he says, "The crew is go at throttle up, copy no action on the rcs message mash."

Mystery solved :)

The Pitch manuever is the pitch manuever they do to take handheld photographs and digital video of the jettisoned External Tank.

Since it was dark at ET sep, they were NO-GO for the pitch.

I'm disappointed that the entry video replay didn't carry any of the conversations about the RCS messages / FES issue...

Dedicated Signal Conditioning Card problem---> some instrumentation lost but even if the card was not recovered there wouldn't be an impact to the mission, only loss of redundancy.

FES is expected to recover soon, but even if it isn't it wouldn't be a problem either.

Anyone know why the both failed so soon after launch? Im assuming these are tested during the countdown and were working fine then

Yeah, I noticed it was sanitized, too...bummer...although I don't recall hearing any of that in the STS-115 replay, either...

In the case of the DSC, almost certainly due to vibration.

Would the cards only be replaced on failure? I'm wondering how many launches a given card may have endured?
Allow subject to scream. In space no one will hear.

No need to be replaced if they pass testing

Yes that would be my guess, tearing apart a box is not routine maintenance.  Not sure about cycle times for individual boxes but I would have assumed that they were originally certified for the life of the vehicle.  Obviously the reality of the shuttle program turned out to be very different from the initial design assumptions.
