I'll have to drop you off now as I have to take care of my patient.  (I'm a caregiver).  Good luck with this launch.

Abort!  Circa 1 or 2 seconds after ignition.  The engine stopped firing during the moment changing from the close-to-pad camera to the erector camera.

Several quick ventings from what is, I assume, near the top of the first stage.

I don't speak Spanish.  Any explanation of what happened?

Thanks to Steven and Zubenelgenubi for the coverage.  Hopefully will get some word from them as to the abort issue.

We have had an automatic Abort due to the NO release of the avionics umbilicals, the rest were free and the engine at nominal thrust. 0.25 second margin. #MIURA1 is healthy. We analyze the data to have more information.

We had an impeccable countdown, with excellent coordination with @intaespana . The conditioning of the launcher, engine start phase up to nominal thrust was perfect. The performance was excellent. What could happen? 👉 🧵

Quote
It is still too early to obtain the final conclusions, we are still working on it, but we are clear that the Helium umbilical had a release delay of about 100 milliseconds...

Quote
This fact caused the “delay” between it and the avionics umbilicals to interrogate loose/not loose to overlap, and they coincided. Faced with this situation, the ground software safely aborted takeoff.

Quote
We were less than half a second away from taking off (nominal thrust 3.85s and release at 4.3s). The check routines at that critical time of <0 , 5s aborted our takeoff.

Quote
After shutdown, it is true that the situation is very tense, but everything is checked quickly. The agility of the CEDEA team @intaespana was also key for the operations to be safe.

Quote
We will finish the full study of the launch attempt and come back soon with a new launch date, summer and heat permitting. One thing is certain @PLD_Space does not give up. We are a professional and capable team. Flying is a matter of time #VamosMIURA !

We postpone the launch of MIURA 1 to September due to the mandatory compliance with the regulations regarding prevention of forest fires, the high temperatures in Huelva and the necessary coordination with the Civil Guard.

Wow, what a limiting factor to launching.  They won't be able to make money if they have restrictions like this.  Need to change the thread to NET September 1.

The restrictions apply to this location as it is highly prone to forest fires in this time of year. We're basically near, at, or above 40C for the greater part of the summer and adding a rocket into the mix doesn't help when the location is next to a natural preserve. Miura 1 is only flying twice, maybe three times tops. Then it's all from French Guiana with Miura 5
