A proposal for ESA:buy CXV.is cheap,is simple design,is ready NOW! Why not? buy CXV,put it on ATV modified orbital-service module,launch with Arianne from kourou and..."Godspeed Europe"!

Who builds the CXV? Does the ATV have enough power to support this? Interesting.

has plans to build the CXV if it can find the $500M it needs. Another similar capsule was the
Multi-Role Recovery Capsule
