Where are these posts mysteriously popping in from?
Other threads.

Yeah... String Theory in action.
Where ELSE did you think they were coming from?

Posts from L3 would simply appear from apparently nowhere out of the blinding brilliance of the sun.

So we have no chance of mitigating the impact and damage in advance?

Yes, but 'from L3'. If you're in L3 then you already know. Nothing blinds L3.

Damage? I think no chance of being prepared for the awesomeness

Folks are forgetting the obvious giant payload. The many variants of the BFS.

That's not a payload, that is a second stage.
Since BFS is made to be refueled in LEO, it doesn't really fit the old definitions, since the second stage is the payload in this case. No need for an eight page long semantics fest.

Nomadd has been podded!!!

"No need for an eight page long semantics fest." That's the sort of thing a newbie would say, because reasons. (semantic fests are what we do)

For the post-1969 LV's; maybe this influence on the engineers of tomorrow?  (Perhaps even Newton_V?):

8)

EDIT: the official Sesame Street YouTube channel censors the "5 whatever-they-are" scene, apparently because one of the monsters breaks the window.  So I went with the uncensored version.

And, it's always funny to watch a pastry chef-costumed Jim Henson fall down a flight of steps!

Also System V....

As to why , I consulted my favorite numerology site....

The number 5 is the most dynamic and energetic of all the single-digit numbers. It is unpredictable, always in motion and constantly in need of change. ... The 2 and 6 are the most harmonious relationship numbers but either one will, when temptation is strong enough, cheat on his or her partner. The 5 will not.

There you have it.

SpaceX e-mail to the media notes Falcon 9 is now ready for launch, but that they are currently waiting for a launch date to be approved by the Eastern Range for the Hispasat 30W-6 mission.

Too bad SpaceX does not have a private pad on say the southern tip of Texas to launch whenever they wish.
