I sure hope all of these lists are finding their way into an Excel spreadsheet.

I should ask why this is in the Russian rocket forum, since its a Ukrainian product.

Sea Launch also under Commercial Space Flight General section… Almost posted in Other Launchers (Indian etc.) but all the Baikonur Zenit are covered under this section?

Interesting...wonder if they have anything on the RD-120, few versions of this engine out there.

Call me suspicious if you like, but I have always wondered about the veracity of the RD-8 designator for the Zenit second stage verniers.

Originally no designator was applied to this propulsion system but I was aware that the engines designed by the Yuzhnoye bureau had been given RD-800 designators.   Therefore, in an article that the British Interplanetary Society published on Spaceflight around 1989 or so I showed the designator as "RD-8??" meaning that there were two unknown digits.   Soon afterwards I saw the designator appear in other sources as "RD-8?" (without a source being given) and then it became "RD-8".

So, I have always has a suspicion that the RD-8 desgnator has been adopted as some sort of convenience rather than being the originally intended one.
I've always been crazy but it's kept me from going insane - WJ.

Andrey, thank you!

 Why SLB80.3… number 2 for Fobos-Grunt?

And thank you for the pictures too.
http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=15589.msg778423#msg778423

And that last picture does little to clarify what to call the rocket, it is both a 3F and a 3SLBF!

So, how exactly did the Spektr-R get a Zenit when the official story was that the Zenit was to be used for the Intelsat launch? Where did the extra Zenit come from?

Zenit for Spektr-R is Zenit for Spektr-R. Zenit for Intelsat 18 was taken from Intelsat 19. Intelsat 19 launch was delayed till next year.

I've found a very interesting picture of ЭПН-03.0694, the first payload of Zenit !

It is in the video "422zen-low.avi" that was available on Spacevideo.ru.

At the beginning of the project, Zenit was to be fitted with RD-124 and RD-125 engines. Someone know when and why they switched to RD-171 and RD-120 ?

A145 - 29.6.2007
A160 - 24.9.2011
8.11.2011 - probably A158 (according to the video)
