Quote from: Prober on 07/08/2011 07:37 pmKinda off topic but has anyone ever got or taken pics of a TDRS in Orbit? That is a great pic, and might hold me. Maybe I can pull that flight video and be happy. See you hear all the time about all the items in Orbit, I kinda wanted to see a lv come up with one in orbit.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:TDRS-E_deployment_from_STS-43.jpg

extended ET video seemed to have worked, at least over europe.captured 24 mins after launchReception used to receive this is a 90cm mesh dish with 3,5 turn RHCP Helix for 2250 MHz, EME103B S-Band LNA and a G1MFG S-Band video receiver.
OVCC signed off the net with some emotion.

I know there a fair few thousand people on here who'd insist on that if turned up in our respective neck of the woods.Whatever happens, you've all made your mark, something most people never will. Chin up and proud, finish strong and we'll have a good old bitch about the lack of leadership once she's safe on the ground
