Archive of amateur IFT-2 launch videos
« on: 11/23/2023 11:30 am »
I've been scouring youtube for individual people's uploads of launch footage. It's a big list that I've found thus far but I'll keep editing this post to add more as I find them. Feel free to reply with your own finds.

Warning for those who care: Several videos contain language

(really good drone footage with the same audio as the previous video)

LEO is the ocean, not an island (let alone a continent). We create cruise liners to ride the oceans, not artificial islands in the middle of them. We need a physical place, which has physical resources, to make our future out there.

One more pretty good one I found, great audio.

Quote
0:12 Jarred Issacman flyover.
0:30 Long Island view of Ground Zero from the north.
0:39 Media viewing and camp lot, StarshipStation.
0:50 Lift off of the IFT-2.

Thanks to GameplayReviewUK for editing this production. Also to my partner mrBocaChica for manning a camera and nailing separation.  At 4 miles to Southwest of the Obital Launch Mount stacked with S25 B9 we shot this from our Starship Station parking lot next to SpaceX's new subdivision lined with very happy and vocal employee's.  On our other side of Starship Station you can hear Dave Avery announcing the countdown

Kind of off topic, but if you get inspired were to watch the next launch: you might want to look at

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/mexico-travel-advisory.html

https://travelmaps.state.gov/TSGMap/?extent=-124.207939566,14.44327709,-84.313397286,33.446969624

At that moment that area has the highest warning "do not travel". But damn does that look good.
