View from the top of the Orbital Launch Tower of #Starship #S25 and #SuperHeavy #B9 performing wiggle tests before Starship IFT-2.

This is the first animation using my new launch site environment and updated SQD arm. Many improvements have been made over the versions used in the O.F.T animation. Currently focusing on adding more detail to the Orbital Tank Farm.

Starship hot stage separation

Great rendering of what occurred.  I love the blow-up of the fire that occurred just before that, quite impressive.

#SpaceX #Starship Version 2:
If you ever imagined how the 2nd version of Starship could look like if it gets extended by 10 meters?
No worries, I got you:

A couple of quick comparison mockups.
Here is (right to left) Saturn V, Old Fullstack (B4/S20), potential near-future v2 Starship fullstack (elongated v2 Ship + B9 style booster with hot-stage ring)

I wasn’t expecting to hear Peer Gynt!

That was fun.

I gave up on this concept after the OLM pad was destroyed.  I couldn't fathom what the ship's stability would be with all that thrust pushing down on the water below.  Yes, no need for a water deluge system, but I worry it could make the oil derrick stability in question.

I love the animation including a passenger ramp added and a SQD that got out of the way real quick.  BUt the upside-down control tower/building is covered in glass,  hmmm,  maybe not.

A duplicate OLM on top of the deck, wouldn't be needed, the OLM ring can be integrated on the ship's deck making it easier to service and lower the COG of the ship in total.  I guess the fuel would need to be shipped on ...ships and depart after fuel loading.

Ah well, to much to worry about. It's just a dream...Peer Gynt!

Seeing the reference to Peer Gynt before watching the video, I was expecting "In the hall of the Mountain King"...

Reject V2 and embrace the mighty Space Whale that is ITS.

Personal fave of all the designs so far seeing that original video way back then… it just looked like the future. So sleek. 😢

Here is a Model of a Super Duper SuperHeavy Heavy configuration.  Look closely as the sides and cores are complete boosters and Starship configurations, along with a core with a special second stage made of the cutoff starship and a complete Starship mounted on top.  This is way over the top configuration, can you imagine the tower height?
