I assume that the flight of a UAE cosmonaut has simply been rescheduled for a later mission ........ or has the planned UAE flight been completely scrapped?
According to information in the NK forum the UAE cosmonaut will launch on Soyuz MS-15 in October and return on Soyuz MS-12.

There are reports according to which UAE cosmonaut would launch on MS-15 and land on MS-12.

Thus, the landing crew of MS-12 would be Hague (commander) / Koch / UAE.

Ovchinin would fly a one-year mission.

Has Hague the qualification as Soyuz return commander?
Interesting news(if correct)

Quote
"The UAE astronaut will go to the station in October 2019 for a week and a half on the Soyuz MS-15," a source said.
As expected, the first UAE astronaut will return to Earth on the descent vehicle of the Soyuz MS-12.
"For this, the possibility is being studied that the cosmonaut Alexei Ovchinin, who after the emergency landing in October in the spring will again start on the ISS, will spend at the station twice as long as planned - a year instead of six months and will return to Earth on the descent vehicle of Soyuz MS-15 in the first half of 2020, "- said the source.
This would require, that Nick Hague will be the commander of Soyuz MS-12 during the descent, because there will be no Russian in this Soyuz.
Is this possible?

Yes it is possible, if true, almost all astronauts are trained to land a Soyuz... I know all ESA astronauts have Soyuz landing certification.. So I would assume Hague will have this also, if not he has until February to train for it... And he has already had a Soyuz landing.... plus A Soyuz landing is almost automatic all the way down, there is not much a crew does during decent.

I can confirm that Hague is certified for landing a Soyuz.

ISS orbit corrected for Soyuz MS-12
https://www.roscosmos.ru/25895/
Google translation:
"The planned correction of the orbit of the ISS
In accordance with the flight program of the International Space Station (ISS), on December 27, 2018, a planned correction of the ISS orbit was performed.
To accomplish the maneuver, at 06:05 Moscow time, the propulsion system of the Progress MS-10 cargo vehicle attached to the International Space Station was turned on. Engine running time was 337.5 seconds. As a result, the station received a speed increment of 0.65 m / s.
In accordance with the data of the ballistic-navigation support of the Mission Control Center, the parameters of the ISS orbit after the execution of the maneuver were:
- the minimum height above the Earth’s surface is 404.4 km,
- the maximum height above the earth's surface is 422.8 km,
- circulation period - 92.62 min.,
- orbit inclination - 51.66 degrees.
The purpose of the correction was the formation of ballistic conditions for launching into orbit and docking with the ISS of the Soyuz MS-12 transport manned spacecraft planned for March 2019."

Depending on how the launch and landing times pan out, that could be the longest flight by a Soyuz: the record is currently Soyuz-TMA 9 with 215.34 days.

Any ideas on the precise launch time plan?

rocketlaunch.live today published 00:42 UTC on 1 March (06:42 local time). This site says 22:42 UTC on 28 February. So they agree on the :42, but with two hours difference.

Thanks. But are you sure about the timezone? In the lead of the video there is ET, and default timezone for NASA TV schedule is EST. That is UTC-5, so shouldn't it be 23:42 UTC on February 28?

(Of course, if she talked about local time in Texas, then it's UTC-6 ...)

MSK minus 3 hours is UTC.
If the launch time is 02:42 MSK it is 23:42 UTC (February 28)
If the launch time is 03:42 MSK it is 00:42 UTC (March 01)

Two different NK posts give us two different launch times. But which one is correct?

I think the last one (03.42). It is from the Russian launch schedule, and was changed last night.
The first one (02.42) comes from the ISS schedule, and it is not changed at the moment.

Source the first information! EST vs CST!

Soyuz MS-12 schedule launch: February 28, 2019 at 6:42 pm EST so 23:42 UTC the same day.

CORRECTION: Should be 6:42 pm CST so 00:42 UTC next day !

Nick Hague to carry out a year-long flight...
https://sputniknews.com/science/201901131071432010-nasa-astronaut-iss-spaceflight/

A real year-long flight or another "pretend year-long flight" like the one that lasted for only 341 days?
