Rotten luck, I was looking forward to seeing the 8 hour flight. I bet the crew was too.

I suppose it will provide a good test for the SpX/Dragon space toilet, not to mention the air filtration system--more
to scrub than just CO2. 

Why don’t they just wait a few days until another 8 hour window arrives?

Because getting an overdue mission up to the ISS  is more important than how long the crew hangs out in orbit.

Nautical miles, just to be more confusing.  Though I do have to translate altitude and velocity to feet and miles and miles/hour or miles/second in my head as it goes up.  It would be a lot easier if my brain was metric.

Answered my question I was wondering about food on Dragon.  They are MRE's.  12 meals per each crew and snacks.

PAO says 0.5 Million viewing the webcast.  I wonder how that compares with DM-2.

There were a little over 600K watching the LaunchAmerica/SpaceX feed on Youtube this time.  As I recall, there were about 4.25 Million watching DM-2 on the same feed back in May.

Also, IMO, there was about 100 million views on the Demo-2 webcast as a whole upon it ending, but because it was over 19 hours, it was unable to be played on YouTube. Hence why it was broken up post-docking.

Oh, okay - so a total of 6x Dragons then? I had the conference on low in the background and I didn't catch all of what she said. I imagine that fleet will be a mix of Crew and Cargo versions. It would be nice to pin down the numbers; say 3x Crew and 3x Cargo, or 4x Crew and 2x Cargo. Something like that...

She said 3 Cargo (including CRS-21) and 3 more Crew being built (in addition to the first two Crew Dragons)

The demo-1 capsule was destroyed
the demo 2 capsule is in refurb. I believe it has been identified as the crew 2 capsule.
The crew 1 capsule will go into refurb when it finishes its mission.
Gwynne said an additional 3 crew dragons are already started in manufacturing.

Gwynne also mentioned that 3 cargo dragons were already in manufacturing [I think].

So I count that as a fleet of 5 crew dragons and 3 cargo dragons for the dragon 2 fleet.

With the quad one prop line heaters down to 1 of 4, and with flight rules requiring at least two working heaters, can this lead to disabling that quad of thrusters and if so, does that mean end of mission..??

Not trying to be all doom and gloom here but just trying to better understand the flight rules and  possible impacts...

I am also waiting for answers to these questions.  I was expecting much more lively discussion on this.  I joined L2 a few minutes ago, in the hopes that maybe I can find some over there.  But I'm still waiting for admittance.

I'm not sure anyone here has answers on the prop manifold heater issue.  We just need to wait for more information.

What happens if there is only one working? I believe SpaceX Dragon uses DiNitrogen TetraOxide /Monomethylhydrazine  (NTO/MMH)

NTO's boiling point is around 21C so whether we need to worry?
