Ok, Sping Clean done. Wil take advice on anything I've missed.

Certainly could use some more in-depth work, such as sections for Firefly, for example. Astra might get Rocket 4 going, but Firefly should have one if they do ;) Etc.

But on headers and descriptions, let's get those sorted.

The Missions to the Moon one still says EM-1 (not Artemis), at least on my mobile device.

There isn't a thread here* in the NSF forum for meta-discussion about NSF's Youtube activity, and I'm still resisting getting a Youtube account and commenting there, so I'll post it here: thank you Das et al for enabling the dual-audio capability so that we can continue watching the Starabse videos with ambient audio.  I see from the video comments that everyone else luuuuuuvs the new narration, but I do not :/  I mean, I love your update videos with the talking heads working from a script (and special thanks go to the writers), but for these Starbase highlight footage videos I prefer the ambient audio (and brief captions) over the unscripted commentary :)  So I'm thrilled that you all got that audio option working!

PSA #1:  Suppress forum auto-embed of Youtube videos by deleting leading 'www.' (four characters) in YT URL; useful when linking text to YT, or just to avoid bloat.
PSA #2:  Users who particularly annoy you can be suppressed in forum view via Modify Profile -> Buddies / Ignore List.  *** See profile for two more NSF forum tips. ***

Chris,

Thanks for the candid response to YT.  Since I post a lot of YT content on the forum. I wanted to get feedback from you when I post a link to a video (two ways).   Tony.

The first example is a link that is not embedded:

Sample:  https://youtube.com/watch?v=s5UdWAnUoWI

Are you able to view that?

Or do you prefer to watch the video embedded in the Forum:
Example of the embedded viewer link:

Quick question: When using the "Recent Post"  query, is it limited to the 100 most recent posts? Can that be altered in the query to display more recent posts?

Thanks,
Tony

But on headers and descriptions, let's get those sorted.

There is inconsistency around European launches. Most, like RFA/ISAR/etc are in the Commercial Space Flight General section. However, PLD Space is in ESA Launchers - Ariane/Vega (this section also includes things like Callisto/Prometheus/Themis, which don't fit the title either).

Feels like either PLD moves to Commercial or the ESA Section becomes:

European Launchers.
Updates and launch coverage of European launches.

If nothing else, the ESA section description needs to lose "unmanned." (should be uncrewed or similar)

Also, all the descriptions of the subsections in the International section are worded differently, but the intent is the same. Might be better if they were consistent, perhaps something like the Japanese one: "Section dedicated to XXX launches and missions."

Hmm yes, we could do some more housekeeping over the holidays perhaps.

PS Anyone noticing the X feed on the right side of the forum (desktop and not an ad blocker bad person ;) ) - was always working for me as admin, but stuck on the spin prime boom for everyone else. Noticed it was up to date for me when I was on a friend's computer the other day and thought "Oh!" - anyone else find it's working again now?

Thanks for the reminder - I don't mind seeing your adverts, so just added the site to the exceptions list on my blocker ...
