According to Novosti kosmonavtiki forum, Soyuz-U rocket with Kosmos (Kobalt-M) satellite and Kosmos-3M rocket with Kosmos (Parus) satellite will be launched from Plesetsk cosmodrome on April 16th and 30th respectively.
From previous Kosmos-3M launch thread, it appears this is the last Kosmos-3M rocket launch. Can anyone confirm this?

So many launchers being retired lately. :(

According to news articles published around the time of the previous launch, the final Kosmos-3M launch is planned for 2011.

Thanks. I was confused by Mighty-T's post on that thread which seemed to suggest there was only 1 rocket left.

Cheers.

In my post I didn't talk about the overall number of launchers left, but only about the ones which could be available to commercialization. However, it seems by now that there are no plans to sell them to commercial customers.

It was mistake in press-release of National Space Agency of Ukraine.

From previous Kosmos-3M launch thread, it appears this is the last Kosmos-3M rocket launch. Can anyone confirm this?

So many launchers being retired lately. :(

According to http://de.rian.ru/safety/20100409/125838413.html there are three Kosmos 3M rockets to be launched.

Interestingly, the Commander of the Russian Space Forces said there were only two left during a press conference earlier this month. He also expects both to be launched this year.

Not sure what the cause of the discrepancy is.

Both sources qoute the same press-conference. Although the Russian version of RIAN speaks of the three launchers too, I think your source is more reliable.

Very frequently RIA-novosti is not reliable about space activities details.

SkyTerra 1 - in the second decade of August

I think that might be a typo. Did you mean second week or second half?
