Since Garpun will use a Block-DM upper stage, I would consider DirecTV-12 the more likely candidate

Garpun will use Briz-M. I am mistaken in plan. I have corrected it now.

I think that blog is wrong. The satellite that has moved is probably Svea. As far as I know, Prisma was always on Dnepr.

I looks through the official site of the PRISMA satellites and even though the launch date isn't updated on all places is always say it was planned to be launched on a Dnepr.

I couldn't find any info at all about Svea. There was talk back in 2005 that a Swedish military surveillance would be named Svea but haven't found any resent information about that.

If remember correctly, the Russians seem to launch 3 Glonass satellites nearly every year on 25 December (probably an exaggeration but they have several times.) Is there something magical from a orbital mechanics point of view to explain this or just a weird coincidence?  ???

Best quote heard during an inspection, "I was unaware that I was the only one who was aware."
