So the hot-fire test was a success then?

Remember, the update thread shows the hot fire isn't for another 100 minutes ish.

Don't use this as your only thread. I know it only took until page 2.....

THREE DEDICATED CRS-2 THREADS!!! Don't make me come over there ;D

It would be easier to party if we had any confirmation of a successful test, but within the constraints of the poor-quality video stream, it resembled a nominal static fire to my eyes. If so, excellent work by SpaceX in consolidating the WDR and static fire into one test and getting it right on the first attempt. This bodes well their ability to ramp up the flight rate (should the market materialize, blah blah blah).

Well I found out I have to be at work during the launch window Friday.  Oh well there's always NSF.com plus my smartphone and a strategically placed restroom break.
I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Reporting for party duty!

I normally get in to work at 9:00 am and the launch is at 10:10.  I haven't decided whether to watch it at home and come in late that morning (preferred), or get in on time and watch it at work.  I'll have to talk to my boss tomorrow and see what he thinks.

If I come in late, I'll have to make up the time, which is fine.  If we're slow at work I don't think he'll have a problem with me watching it there, but if we're busy, that could be another matter.  Although I can at least get some work done while the countdown is running in the background.

But I would want to give my undivided attention to the launch.  That's probably the time when the phones will start ringing and customers will be coming through the front door.   ;)
