From the Tanegashima Space Center on the southeast portion of the Japanese Tanegashima island, JAXA presents live coverage of the 40th H-IIA mission carrying GOSAT 2 and KhalifaSat into sun-synchronous orbit.
In addition, four nanosatellites will accompany the primary payloads; two of which are 1-unit cubesats.

Launch is currently scheduled for 04:08 UTC (1:08 PM JST), and there's a 12-minute window available should a hold be called at any point.
We're less than a half-hour until the planned T0.

During the 51-minute flight, all six satellites will be deployed into a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 613 kilometers inclined 97.84 degrees.
Their main missions are focused on Earth observations, astronomy, and technology demonstrations.
