Looks like Starlink's market and revenue has been updated from an estimated $8.2 billion in 2024 to $11.8 billion. Amazing after just 6 years and 250 dedicated Starlink launches.

Ballparking 250 launches and hardware at $10B?   That's one HELL of an ROI..

The $11.8 Billion is probably gross revenue. Do we have any estimate for their margins?

I doubt it cost SpaceX $40M for each of those 250 flights especially since they charge most commercial and government customers a premium for first use of the booster and then SpaceX reuses them for Starlink flights 5 to 10 times or more but I understand your point. I'd probably cut that at least in half to $5B or $20M/flight plus we need to add all the previous years revenue to the total. It's been stated that they have been cash flow positive for a while now and I also would like to know what there margins are.

$40 million would account for the launch (roughly $15 million) + satellites $800k x 28 for V2 mini so $22 million) + ground infrastructure + factory for sats/terminals so $40 million isn't too far off

Sure but still.

They're not launching 250/yr but only half that, and revenue is increasing for a fixed capacity as new territories open up (Indian just today)

It's a very profitable business.

We don’t know all of the details, but SpaceX stopped borrowing money years ago while continuing to spend billions on Starlink and billions more on Starship. Where is the money coming from if not Starlink?

We had someone who didn't think the rules applied to him leave a 128k Inmarsat connection running on a ship during the Katrina operation in 05, and ran up a $60,000 a month tab. For 128k.
 Times change.

India remains one of the hardest markets to access for foreign satellite operators. Will be huge if/when Starlink and other LEO constellations get access.

It was an honor to meet with Minister Scindia and hear his vision for expanding access to broadband internet.

With our service licenses granted earlier this month,
@Starlink
is one step closer to serving the great people of India.

Had a productive meeting with Ms. @Gwynne_Shotwell, President & COO of @SpaceX, on India’s next frontier in connectivity. We delved into opportunities for collaboration in satellite communications to power Digital India’s soaring ambitions and empower every citizen across the country.

With India’s digital revolution under the leadership of PM @narendramodi ji, satellite technologies are not just relevant, they’re transformative.

Ms. Shotwell appreciated the license granted to @Starlink, calling it a great start to the journey.

Got the same offer yesterday for Germany. Cheapest subscription is 29 Euro/month. Seems like Starlink now has some excess capacity over central Europe.

Same has been popping up in my Italian and Spanish IPs for at least some months in online ads (roaming service slightly cheaper than the above German ad at 40€).

Tough nut to crack in markets with either near-perfect fiber-to-home infrastructure (>90% in Spain, 80% in rural, with full transition from copper, France also in the ballpark), strong strategies to reach that in the near future (~70% in Italy from <40% a few years ago), or good service through other heritage methods (Germanic countries, with early widespread adoption of copper).
